Taso brings a wealth of experience of teaching having taught in Melbourne's most elite private and public schools, including Caulfield Grammar and Haileybury College. Shortly after Taso moved to the Gold Coast in 2014, 'Taso's Music School' was established to inspire young individuals to play and perform music, and bring his passion of music to the younger generation. 'Taso's Music School' program has now spread to 5 schools with over 50 students, including St. Francis Xavier and Varsity College Primary, and its success is growing rapidly around the Gold Coast. Taso is also choir director of the 'St. Francis Xavier' choir coming 2nd place in the Gold Coast Eisteddfod in 2018. 'Taso's Music School' program is particularly popular with kids in primary schools as they find learning in an easy going and fun learning environment. The lessons are specialised for Guitar, Voice, and Keyboard and are held in small groups, and individual lessons. Ages range from Prep level all the way up to year 6, and through to adults. Taso teaches his own curriculum, having honed his teaching skills over the last 25 years, including teaching the AMEB syllabus, and delivering it in a compact way where his students enjoy a ready made program and enjoy a fast progress.
What they say
My daughter has loved learning the guitar and I credit her passion & enthusiasm to her teacher Taso. He understands how to get the best out of her and challenges her to further enhance her talent. She certainly looks forward to her lesson each week and its very convenient that Taso is able to come to her school and offer lessons during school hours
My daughter Ava has really discovered a love for playing the guitar since joining Taso's music school. She has been learning under Taso's instruction for almost 2 years now and in that time she has shown amazing progression and now plays a wide variety of songs. We are so pleased that she has shown such enthusiasm for the guitar. Thank you Taso
We have twin boys who have been doing guitar lessons with Taso for over 18 months now. He has a very calm, patient nature and is brilliant with our boys. They look forward to their guitar lesson every week, and we can see them improving with every lesson.

"Any decent music teacher can teach your child to play music, the better ones also allow them to feel it, Taso is one of those teachers."
Daniel de Byl
They are really enjoying guitar is because Taso makes it fun and he has a laugh with them, the classes are not too big so they get one on one time also, and he lets them try new songs they want to learn also. What I like is he lets them go at their pace and are happy to teach them in a way that suits their learning style too. He is very patient and puts them at ease.

Taso is a gifted teacher who transposes his love of music onto his students. He is patient and enthusiastic. He never has his 'eye on the clock', he is devoted to his students' learning and has selected this vocation because he is passionate about passing on his skills. My son looks forward to his weekly sessions.
Thank you for teaching Isaac, at the beginning of the class, I was very worry Isaac could give up in the halfway as he is a quite active boy, but finally I can see he is very enjoy the class and wish to be a good guitar player, music changes his character, our family can now enjoy singing together with guitar playing, and we are very sure that he will be a good guitar player with your teaching.
