About Our Founder

Taso is a professional guitarist, teacher, and vocalist. He studied music at the Brisbane Conservatorium of Music and Melbourne University before completing a Bachelor of Music degree at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne in 2002, and a Berklee Certificate of Music in improvisation in 2018.

A scholarship student in 2002, Taso was awarded the prestigious Austral Salon Scholarship for his achievement in musical excellence of Victoria.

During his time in Melbourne, Taso was also a part of ‘Melbourne Opera', singing as a Tenor in such productions as 'La Traviata' and the 'Pearl Fishers', before going on to pursue his own career as a singer/songwriter, with five Singles been independently released on I-tunes, Spotify and Youtube, through Melodic Music Melbourne.

Taso has performed for many notable patrons in the elite community
including the Prime Minister of Australia, the Hon. Kevin Rudd, and International business identity Mr. Rupert Murdoch among many others, and was a resident musician at the Government House of Victoria in Melbourne.

Taso continues his work through his dedicated practice of teaching music. In 2015 “Taso’s Music School” was established, to inspire young students and adults of all ages and share his passion of music. Taso’s purpose is to bring people and communities together through the joy of playing music.
